You are expected to explain/analyze (AO2) and draw (AO4) movements and shifts on the supply curve (SL+HL)
Movements along the supply curve are caused by price only. It is either a contraction or expansion.
Contraction means lower quantity supplied because of a lower price. Supply goes down-left on the curve.
Expansion means higher quantity supplied because of a higher price. Supply goes up-right on the curve.
Shifts of the supply curve are caused by one or multiple non-price determinants of supply. It is either leftwards or rightwards.
Leftwards shifts are decreases in supply caused by unfavorable non-price events.
Rightwards shifts are increases in supply caused by favorable non-price events.
